Leech Bedrooms is a family-run business offering a personal, professional service, which puts customer satisfaction as its main priority.
Phil Leech, a time served joiner, set up Leech Bedrooms over twenty years ago and in that time has seen it grow into a thriving business that has won an Inner City 100 small business award.
"The business seems to have evolved just naturally," explained Phil, who runs the company with his wife Pam and brothers-in-law Mike and Tony Brandwood. Phil's first apprentice, Carl Atherton, has been with Phil and Leech Bedrooms from day one.
"We now deliver our bedrooms, kitchens and home offices across the country and the bulk of our work is through word of mouth."
The company, which employs 14 people, has a factory and showroom on Beaufort Street in Peasley Cross, St Helens and specialises in fitted bedrooms and sliding mirror doors, fitted kitchens and home offices.
"We work closely with our customers to give them exactly what they're looking for," explained Phil who decided to specialise in fitted furniture after realising a flair for it whilst working as a joiner.
"We offer a personal service and work closely with our customers to ensure their complete satisfaction."
"As much as possible we try to offer a bespoke service and we will undertake a design from scratch."
The 6,500sq ft factory and showroom is based on two floors, full of designer fitted bedrooms, kitchens and home offices.
Our Fitting Teams are employed full time by Leech Bedrooms. We do not use sub-contractors like most other companies. This enables us to keep our quality of finish much higher.
All fitters have gone through an Apprenticeship Scheme, as Phil found this was the best way to train his workforce and make sure his high standards where consistently achieved.
